Fizz and Fashion, Moncarapacho 20 May.... €2,300.00 raised!
There are times when words are not enough, and this is one of those occasions. A day to remember… for various reasons. So many friends and volunteers helped to raise in the region of €2300.00 for our local Animal Sterilisation Programme...... StreetLife.
It was an amazing day from start to finish. The weather was kind to us…. all of our supporters were generous beyond belief…. fashion was flying into bags… fizz was flowing… posh bites were amazing … music was getting our toes tapping. The combination of everything resulted in a very buzzy fun day which raised lots of money for StreetLife. An amount which far exceeded any expectations.
My sincere thanks go to everyone who attended the event… a big thank you to all of our volunteers: our wonderful fizzy bar ladies, Lucy & Emma, our ladies looking after the fashion area…. Sue, Myriam & Christine, not forgetting the boys: Alan, Bill, Adrian and Graeme BUT the superstars of the day were Jean, Dizzie & Janet for all of their hard work in preparing the posh bites.
Thanks also go to friends who donated the beautiful clothes that enabled our Fashion day to be such a success …. and we also thank our sponsors for donating raffle prizes (Tribulum, Philippe Stabile, Ana Rodrigues Day Spa in Olhão and friends). If I have left anyone off I apologise!! Every single person on the day made it special… it was a collective team effort to raise such a fantastic amount.
Thank you emails are coming in from all of our supporters saying how much they enjoyed the day… this is the final icing on the cake … you thanking us! I hope this will be the start of more “pop-up” Fizz and Fashion Days.
