StreetLife's 8th Annual Fundraising Night - €1,242 raised!...... ​​​

On Monday 1st September, StreetLife marked its 8th anniversary in style with the return of its much-loved Dine & Party Night, once again hosted at Restaurante António in Moncarapacho, who, as always, did a superb job.

​

Seventy-eight guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal with wine, followed by an evening of lively entertainment.  With the themed “Rod & Tina – It Takes Two!” and a sprinkling of 80s classics, diners were soon on their feet. Laughter, music, and dancing carried on late into the night, making it a truly memorable occasion.

Generous prizes were donated by StreetLife’s wonderful sponsors for 2025; Restaurant Alagoas, Restaurant Antonio, Restaurant Bamboo, Restaurant Barbacoa, Restaurant Tribulum, Restaurant YU, Cara Hair & Beauty, Home Sesil, Monterosa Olive Oil, Octant Praia Verde Hotel, Philippe Stabile Hair & Beauty, The Beauty Lounge and Real Marina Hotel.  Thanks to their support and the enthusiasm of our guests, spirits were high and the evening raised an impressive €1,242 for StreetLife’s vital work.

“Events like this show just how powerful our community can be when it comes together,” said Linda Cree of StreetLife. “Every euro raised tonight goes directly towards preventing unwanted puppies and giving dogs a healthier, happier future.  We’re so grateful to everyone who came, danced, donated and celebrated with us.”

StreetLife is a local charity dedicated to breaking the cycle of unwanted pregnancies by providing free or subsidised sterilisations, particularly for low-income families.  Working closely with partner shelters and a trusted network of volunteers, the charity has already helped sterilise over 1,500 dogs – and counting!

​

Funds raised from this event will go directly towards funding more sterilisations in the coming months.​

​
