StreetTalk's "Paws for Applause" with Steve Jaggs MBE....​​​

We held our first StreetLife fundraiser talk - StreetTalk / 'Paws for Applause’ organised by StreetLife's Social Butterflies.

 

Over 70 supporters gathere for this special occasion as StreetLife hosted its very first StreetTalk event. The afternoon brought together friends, supporters and animal lovers from across the East Algarve for an inspiring and enjoyable event. 

​

Guests were delighted to welcome speaker Steve Jaggs MBE who shared some fascinating insights into his extraordinary career spanning 30 years.  From starting life as a plumber, to looking after the Houses of Parliament, becoming a Deputy Sargeant at Arms, overseeing the multi-million pound restoration of the iconic Great Clock - Big Ben, to helping organise the Queen's funeral, his talk was both enlightening and engaging, capturing the attention of everyone in the room. Everyone enjoyed a fabulous three-course meal with wine, expertly prepared by Executive Chef and co-owner of Tribulum, Jonnie Pratt and his attentive team, who made sure the afternoon was as memorable for its hospitality as it was for its purpose

With the help of some wonderful local sponsors, our supporters and our StreetLife Butterflies, we raised just over €1,300 towards StreetLife's work.
